Denim Gansey kits are our own variation on the traditional woolen 5 ply fishermans gansey. It behaves very like a pair of your favourite jeans and will give when worn but can be put through the washing machine and tumble dried to bring it back to shape. It is a comfortable and stylish alternative for those not wanting wool.

Unlike its woolen counterpart it is knitted on two needles in pieces and then sewn up after its initial wash.

Our new supply of denim is hardwearing and firm and alot like the original Rowan denim of previous years (now discontinued) that these first started in.

The yarn comes on a cone of 1kg with extra added as needed.
